Tarajee Wilson has worked as a licensed practical nurse at Augustana Care Moose Lake Health Care Center for the past three years. She co-chaired the Alzheimer’s fundraiser project and raised more than $2,000.

Tarajee’s commitment to the needs of residents in memory care is also demonstrated daily. She seeks out ways to connect with those whose families are not frequent visitors. She is also known as a team player, seeking solutions with her team to enable a better experience for residents.

“I really like being a caregiver because I get to share God’s love by helping people. Watching them smile and listening to their life stories is also the best thing ever,” Tarajee says. “In Moose Lake, we all like to work as a team, which makes it fun to go to work. In fact, it doesn’t feel like work! We all like to care for residents and make sure they get the best care.”
